Build an Asset Bundle on Linux?
I'm trying to generate an asset bundle on a remote linux machine and stream the bundle to a running Unity instance.
Is it possible to download the same libraries Unity uses, compile on Linux and generate an asset bundle?
You could try using a Windows V$$anonymous$$ on Linux, but that wouldn't be exactly what you're looking for. :/

Since Asset Bundles are made on a Windows or Mac version of the Unity Editor, I guess the editor is required.
Unity Technologies still do not provide a Unity Editor for Linux, but it can still be run on Linux using Wine. See the community set up wiki page - http://wiki.unity3d.com/index.php/Running_Unity_on_Linux_through_Wine
