Exporting Assets Bundle with Lightmaps included possible?
Hi there,
the way we use Unity is we build a level and it is then exported and uploaded to a server and accessed via the Unity Web Player. When I export an environment or object or anything that has been light mapped in Unity, the lighting is lost when uploaded to our server. We do not upload scenes which I think is a problem as I have read that the light mapping is tied to the scene.
Is there no way to export an object/environment with the light mapping info included? We're using Unity 3.5 Pro if that helps.
I have got around to an extent by unwrapping and baking lightmaps in 3D Max but I'm achieveing much better results with Unity and would really like to figure out how to retain the lightmaps when exporting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading! :)
