glass objects plz help

hi i have created a hollowed sphere now i need to make it see through kinda like glass? What steps do i have to take? i am new to unity plz helpp

Glass is tricky. At least you can use a Transparent/Diffuse shader. Want it scratchy? Add a texture. Want it shiny, use Specular. Want it reflective? Use a Reflection shader. Pro has some glass under FX but I think it's like stained glass. You can also use the Water shaders which also have refraction and so forth. Use the Alpha channels on colors (and diffuse textures if you use them) for transparency.

hey i got the shader part down now its transparent, but what texture do i use?

I made one in PaintShop that's just a few 'scratches' (light gray lines) and dust (pixels), so it looks more realistic.
