2D Sprites Rendering Inconsistently Between Computers
Working on a project, I have animated sprites that are rendered in play mode. Initially the issue was that sprites would look seamless and properly animated on my desktop PC, but then have gaps and odd positioning on other PCs, including my personal laptop.
When viewed by my team or on my laptop, the sprites do not render the same, or the positions are different. We are using a Pixel Perfect 2D camera script which in fact reversed the issue so that now they show up properly other computers, but not my desktop PC. I have included screenshots below to showcase the issue. The resolution is restricted to fullscreen standalone 1024x768, with no quality options.
Taken from a build on my Desktop PC. (Windows 10, 2560x1440)
Taken from the same build, but on my laptop. (Windows 10, 1366x768)
I've tried playing with the player settings, restricting everything to OpenGL library and changing quality settings as well, but nothing allows me to get consistent rendering between computers, and makes it difficult to go forward with animating characters as troubleshooting their positions is impossible on my desktop.
Ultimately the question is: is there any way to lock in so that no matter what the game renders the same on most computers, even if it requires installation of specific software or libraries. This is stalling our development and nothing we tried has worked.
