Setting particle colors AND using a texture (as alpha mask)?
Hi,
i'm trying to use a texture as alpha mask and script the colour of my (legacy) particles, but unfortunately i can only manage to do one thing at a time. If i apply a texture to the particle material it overwrites the particles own color. Setting the color of the individual particles without a texture on the material works fine.
I'm using the ParticleEmitter.Emit() function to set the colors.
What am i doing wrong?
Any help is very much appreciated.
All the best, jan
sorry, i just figured it out myself, i was using the wrong material. Alpha Blended was the right one... obviously!
