unity 4.2 crash particle system
Unity tool is crashed when I click play button after control particle curves or change value of gradient tools.
that is to say on hierarchy make particle system and control particle curves or gradent editor at that time push start button and turnoff. then crash unity.

I have that problem too. Unity is displaying errors like "move temp file failed" when I working with particle system's settings. "Reload All" in assests did not help.
Same here. Altough it doesn't crash, but freeze here.
This only occurs after pressing play. Simulating particles in the edit mode doesn't trigger the freeze.
Same here, unity freezes after using the particle system. But not always....
i'm on osx 10.8.4
I'm on windows 7 x64. Unity is not crashing now. It stopped crashing when I finished changing particle system's settings but still I'm using particles in game and everything is ok.
I'm on windows 8 and have the same issue, it freezes. Working with Size over Lifetime on a particle system. If you close the curve editor it does not freeze, leave it open and it will freeze the second time you press play.
