Use Mouse as Direction for Character Movement?
I would like to use my mouse to direct my first person character controller in directions along the X, Y and Z axis. This is not possible through the CharacterMotor script as it only lets the character controller move along the X and Z axis. I would like to sort of float in the air using all the axis but I don't know how it's done. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you seen the sample assets that Unity provides? There is a pretty great FPS Controller in there! You can tweak values there or learn from that if you're interested.
What's the difference between Unity's native character controller?
