Can I sell a game similar to a unity tutorial?
I followed a tutorial in your “Projects” section - “Unit 4 - Gameplay Mechanics” , I created a game inspired by the tutorial, the game dynamic is the same, but I customized it, and implemented it with additional functions, I used the scripts in the tutorial, is it a crime? I would like to publish the game and before incurring penalties and fines I would like to know how to behave, should I mention you in the “Credits”?
It is not a crime! You can totally publish your game without problems. Those were just tutorials made just for people to learn and you can use those scripts no problem. You can mention that you based your scripts on those ones from the tutorials but you dont have to.
