View dependant toon outline shader

Hi there, basiclly we are trying to create a shader that gives the impression that a flat plane if a cardboard cut out. I wondered if anyone was able to explain how I could create a "toon shader" outline shader that is view dependant and only shows when the camera is at a angle to the object in question. Some pointer and research point would be great, obviously I'm not expect anyone to write me a shader like this, but some starting points would be amazing. Cheers - C

I should add I'm not very knowledgable when it comes to shaders, could you elaborate please?

I use 2 shaders, if angle change, replace it with a new shader.

Okay I'm with you, Would you do this programmatically or through a shader designed to do such a thing. I'm very new to shaders, I've got a copy of Strumpy Shader Editor but I'm no closer to understanding how I'm going to achieve my goal.
