Moving File Failed
I recently got a Mac Pro and installed Unity on it. Everything was working great. Another account was set up with Parental Controls that I then used. I don't remeber how unity worked on that account. Bottom line is that when that account was removed and I was put back into the admin account, I started encountering these nightmares:
Strangely enough, I can still play the game and what not after I cancel them enough, but it doesn't appear to update the scripts anymore. I'm running Mac 10.8.4. Any ideas much appreciated.
Thanks! -SS

Do a permissions repair from disk util. If that doesn't work open a terminal and navigate to your unity projects parent folder. They on the PROJECT folder run something like
chown -R yourUsername:yourUsername
that is user:group there. I can't really remember how macOS does it's groups. It may want yourUsername:Staff or something like that. I really can't remember. There was a point where they where still using the wheel group (something that is not done a lot anymore). The most important part is that you "own" the files. The error you're running into can happen if you have r-x perms for your user. You need write perms to move a file.
Thank you so much sir. I actually found the problem, things seemed to work after I moved it onto my main HD, but thank you so much anyway!
