Unity hang

Hi All,

I am using UNITY Pro 4.1 (4.1.0f4) and it keeps hanging when I am running it using my mac book air.

The mac book air RAM is 4 GB with 128 GB disk and 44 GB is still free, the OS is Mountain Lion 10.8.3 (the latest update).

The hanging event occurs when I was working on my project .... navigating the game scene.

This hanging event is not happening on my other computer .. IMAC with 4 GB of RAM and also using Mountain Lion 10.8.3.

Do you guys have any suggestion what might be the cause ?.

Hi Lightsource,

Unity show a glass hours and I cannot do anything with it ... I wait for 20 $$anonymous$$s and it was not resolve ...

When I open the Force to Quit window ... the status of Unity is 'not responding' and Apple debug reports show the status as Hang.

This happen repeatedly and therefore I decided to upgrade the OS from Lion to $$anonymous$$ountain Lion but result still the same.

Thank you, appreciate if you can share any idea to solve it.

Have you tried to uninstall and re install? Unity had a good uninstaller that was included in its package.

So, did that work for you? I'm in a similar situation with latest unity and win 8.1.
