missing textures when imported to unity3d.
i created 3d animals in maya(with textures,i used uv2x thing,anisotropic). i converted it as .fbx so that i would be able to import it in unity3d. yes,it successfully imported but the textures,colors of the animals doesn't appear on the animal, it's just the gray color,..what should i do? pls..this is really urgent.. :( thank you.

Have you tried making a material? When you export as FBX, i believe the first time you also have to import your textures separately from the model file. You only have to do this once, even if you change your model using your 3d modeler after initial import.
Additionally, back in Unity3d, after you import the textures, be sure to create a new material, apply the texture to the material, select map type, then just drop the material onto a game object in your scene or in your project folder.
You have to create a material, because a game object could have multiple textures assigned to a single object, so the use of a parent material makes sense.
