Unable to assign Particle Emitter
Okay, so I've been doing some tutorials and playing around with particles. I've been trying to code particleEmitters for testing, however, whenever I try to assign the particle prefab I made, to the ParticleEmitter variable created in my code, it refuses to work. However, it only sometimes works when I change the ParticleEmitter variable into a GameObject variable, though not always, and sometimes when I do that, things in the code refuses to work because it's not associated with the GameObject data type (Eg. particleEmiter.emit).
This leads me to believe it's not creating my prefabs as required particle prefabs, but how do I do that. I'm given no options for the type of prefab and just dragging raw particle systems doesn't seem to work either.
Has something changed in the recent build of Unity that changes how this function works? What is wrong here?
