Is it possible to make a physics sandbox game with coding capabilities?
I want to make a physics sandbox game. It will be first person and it will be possible to use guns (like garry's mod). Also like garry's mod there will be a menu to spawn items. But unlike gmod the menu will be toggable. also unlike gmod it will have the capability to drag blocks of code from another menu onto obects, giving objects certain capabilities and features such as turning any object into something such as a jetpack or walking legs. This will be my first full game in unity and i want to know if its possible thanks in advance :)
Yes, all of that is possible. But you have to know how to code. ;)
well in program$$anonymous$$g there really is only limit hardware and your imagination
once you establish those 2 limits high enough there's no limit in program$$anonymous$$g, ...
well there is a limitation in hardware but not for long. I'm learning how to code c# using unity examples and $$anonymous$$ching myself. I can code in vb but that can't be used in unity :(
So basically you want to create Unity in Unity. Interesting.
closing; there is no single 'problem' here, only a concept or design which should be discussed in the forums
