Is Unity 2018 has a poor frame rate performance ?
Hello , I was working on my latest game on unity 4.6 and everything worked perfectly, currently I switched to work on unity 2018 for my next games so I created a new project with only adding two planes in the scene , but I see poor performance when run a project on android device , I have tested it on Huawei p9 lite and also Samsung galaxy s4 , in my project I created a code to set Application.targetframe to be 60 frames but I always see it nearly 30 frames when I log it by FrameRateController script that I have created it in the Update function. Even though, the native target fps for these android devices is 60 frames , plz who faced the same issue? Important note : I have deactivated the two planes then the fps increased , why this happened, they just two native planes from unity !!!
