Problem with OnMouseDown
Hi! I created a simple test door, with animation, box collider, and the script with function OnMouseDown, I don't know why It doesn't work!
Here ther's a simple test that I've done, please see if there is an error:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/h7ixgg
This is the JScript:
#pragma strict
var AnimCancelloIngresso : String;
function OnMouseDown ()
{
//if (Input.GetMouseButtonDown(0))
//{
animation[AnimCancelloIngresso].speed = 1.0f;
animation.Play(AnimCancelloIngresso);
audio.Play();
//}
}
Thank you so much fr help me!
Can you elaborate on your question? Very few people are willing to download a random zip and open up your project and debug it for you. Can you explain what you want to do, what the animation does, what you expect to happen/what is happening?
Is this script attached to an object with a collider?

Thank you for the reply Daniel, I changed code with yours, but I can't insert my animation in Unity Editor! Why? :/ I try to change Animation with AnimationClip, but is not different.
First, Sorry for the late reply! Did you fix it? Second, if you have a comment leave it as a comment ;P not an answer! I remember when i made that mistake my first time! This is a knowledge base and we want to keep it as clean as possible! So Your meaning the clip wont drag into the inspector slot? hmm let me pull you some documentation From Unity! On animations! This will definitely get you where you need to go! http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/ScriptReference/Animation.html
One thing! Im so sorry you can change the speed of an animation in code! The example is right there on the home page documentation!
Another thing if you want to tag a person in a post in a comment or a form just put @PaxStyle and it is case sensitive as well so make sure its exact!
Hope that helps! And let me know the answers to my questions if you need further help! Editing my answer!
@PaxStyle Don't forget to come back and accept the answer if it helps! This helps others fix their problems too when they look at your question!
