Unity 4 crashes on importing packadges
Hi. I have Unity 4.0.0 . When I try to import a larger packadge, it crashes. I oppened the task manager window and start monitoring the ram used. Before crash, the used ram was at about 920 Mb. Right before crash, it jumped over 1000. How could I solve this problem? On my computer, I have 2 GB ram installed. The crash gave me no message, except the error submitting window.

Can you not select the individual parts of the package to import, and try to import it in 3-4 parts?, or is it one big file within the entire package?
If it is one big file causing a crash, it would have to be so unweildy that TBH you might wanna sort that out first anyway, as it will be pretty disastrous once its in unity as well.
Well...I cannot select. It has more files inside but It is a single packadge file. I will try to update Unity to 4.1.0 to see if this helps.

When I import only one image, it crashes too, so is a bug. I tried the -force-d3d11 but is useless in my Intel HD 4200.
