Trying to replicate a Shader, help?
Hello everyone, can you solve this riddle for me? I'm trying to replicate a shader from a game (http://media.multiplayer.it/thumbs/images/2010/04/20/naruto-shippuden-ultimate-ninja-storm-2_hfghn.mwves_jpg_1400x0_q85.jpg // http://cdn2-b.examiner.com/sites/default/files/styles/image_content_width/hash/5f/4a/5f4ad0680b42132c08bea2d722876078.jpg?itok=lXBp6b0Q) But i just cannot do it, i tried to replicate a Self Illumination + Transparency shader but the only thing i can come up with is an image being colored by the self illumination value, without spreading any Glow
Can someone help me through this?
(I'm not making a Naruto game, i just like the color effects on the last game)

You have to bake the emission into the lightmaps to "spread some glow" as you put it. This obviously won't work with anything that moves so you'll have to fake it with lights.
