How to light a plane from behind
Hello, i am trying get light to effect a plane from behind. I have some examples to better show what i am trying to create.
This is what the light looks like currently. https://gfycat.com/BewitchedLegitimateCapeghostfrog
This is the type of effect i am trying to get, i did this with a second spotlight pointed in reverse, but this creates more problems. https://gfycat.com/DefensiveReliableIndianglassfish
If anybody has any idea of how i could implement this cleanly I would appreciate the help.
I can not see any difference between 2 gifs. can you explain more what you want to achieve
On the first gif the plants do not receive any light, they stay the same brightness, on the second the get lit up when the light goes over them.
Oh I get it, well, while I can not give you direct answer I can direct you to a point. if you dont want to use 2 lights, you can check "Translucent shader" and "Subsurface Scattering Shaders",
