Unity ADs SDK?

Hi everyone, I'm new to using the unity AD's feature but I have them working in my game which will now be free. It's my first time coding Ad's and I'm using the built in Using.UnityEngine.Advertisement.

My question is, will I need to download the Unity AD's SDK to run or compile my Android project? I figured since Advertisements were built in... I would not need to? I'm currently using Unity 5.4.0f3 with Android support of API 14 to 24.

I have not seen any settings in the unity editor to add a link for the SDK nor have I seen an area in Android studios. Would I be require to add this as a dependency in Android Studio?

Thank you all in advance for any information! =)

Okay, I figured out my own that no SD$$anonymous$$ is required. Though in order to compile I did have to update my Java (JD$$anonymous$$). I was using a version from 2013 HAHA.

So yes, for right now Advertisements are really built into Unity 5.4... excluding the new Beta version 2.0 ads. I believe the built in version is currently 1.5.

I hope this might at least help one person who is new to AD's like I am. Cheers!!

Please feel free to correct me on anything I may have gotten wrong.
