how many face is suggested per object, per project
hi, im using maya for modeling, i remember reading somewhere about the suggested number of face per object, and per scene but i cant recall where it was. anyone ? please help.

The question can't be answered without more details:
What hardware are you targeting? Which platform? How many % of these vertices will be skinned? What kind of shaders are you going to use? How many texture slots? How many different materials?
hi sorry for not mentioning, its for iphone. and also re$$anonymous$$ds me, is there a differnce for iphone3, iphone4, ipod? and if so, does it involve many changes in the code? thnx for the fast repaly:)
and for the other critetia, well i didnt realize that these things matter. i plan for 2 main polygons, and many prefans. all skinned. dont know about shaders and so, where can i found more to read about this. thnx again.
