Would it be possible to create games for linux using Unity?
I really hope you can because i would like to play it on my laptop. If you can please explain in detail how to do it.

In response to your "open-source" tag, Unity is not open source, almost certainly never will be, and the games created with it aren't either. That's a separate issue from being able to create games that run on Linux, though, which could be done if they put the resources into it, but is not possible now (aside from WINE).
I do use WIN$$anonymous$$ in fact i use Unity3d on linux through wine. thank you because that is a real answer i didnt think about.
