The shadows are drawing with some distance from casting object
Hello. I'm having some strange effect using a SpotLight with shadows. It seems to be start drawing the shadow with some distance from the object that cast it. For example, there's a table legs (i've checked that make contact with ground), the light seems to be drawing the shadow with a separation like can be seen in the picture. Do you know if this is a commnon issue? SpotLight with a camera using Deferred Lighting. Thanks in advance.
Hello $$anonymous$$iltonNorbert!
I am desperate! I have searched the internet for days and can't find any information about my problem.
Can you PLEASE check in your project: When you move closer to the table, if at a specific distance the shadow starts to cut off?
I have that problem only with spotlights.
When a spotlight gets close to something, the shadow starts to cut off the closer the light gets.
I have that with both hard and soft shadows and only with spotlights.
Just for reference: although this question asks about spotlights, this gap issue also affects shadows cast by point lights. Unfortunately, reducing the bias doesn't eli$$anonymous$$ate this issue for point lights. This is a known bug (see https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/realtime-shadows-have-an-offset-to-the-object-when-using-a-point-light and https://forum.unity.com/threads/point-lights-shadows-and-general-graphical-issues-with-lighting.396986/) and isn't yet fixed.

Have you tried changing the lights peoperties such as Bias
and seeing if anything changes?
Hello. I'm the one who asked this question but i lost the account information, so i made another one to tell you that it was solved. The problem was fixed, thanks Benproductions1 and Broheim.
Apparently was the Bias value in the SpotLight. I've set the field to 0.01 and it worked just fine.
Thanks a lot guys.
Please, someone, close this question!

Maybe your scaling is tiny. does your table have a height of about 1 unity unit?
