unity freezes repeatedly
hello, when i load unity and try to use it it had random little spasms where it sieses to read all input and the entire program appears to run at about 1 fps... its running like i would expect it to run on a computer that couldnt process the data at the required speed.....
PC specs: AMD Phenom(tm) 9850 Quad-Core Processor 2.5Ghz 8.00 GB RAM Windows 7 Profesional (64 bit) 3780/4731 GB HDD space NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
Do you have any anti virus software running? This will likely be the cause. If you can set up exclusion zones round your unity project folder this will likely help you computer. There is also a known HP program called QPService.exe.

i am useing AVG as a virus scanner, i dissabled the resident shield (which is the part that activly scans files) and the problem still occured, and my pc is home built so no HP service running.

Check your code. Its very possible you might have an infinite loop somewhere in there.
