Will Moving Files Result in Issues?
Hey guys. While coding my game, I have found my resources area becoming more and more messy. If I were to now go and re-arrange the objects into new folders and such, will this cause any problems within the game? I just want to check before doing so, it'd be a shame to mess up my game!
Thanks!
I agree with DannyB. Also be extra careful if you are using SVN. $$anonymous$$ovement of files are considered as a Delete and an Addition.

If you are moving from within Unity, in the majority of cases you should not have a problem. There are some more fragile situations, so if I were you I would a) make sure I have backup of the current working state and b) proceed with caution, one logical arrangement step at a time.

What Danny said, plus since you mention Resources, you may have code which accesses into Resources, you would need to edit those paths of course.
