send floats through SendMessage
im attempting to make it so when there is an explosion, all the objectis in that range will take damage according to the distance, and im sending the damage to the heath script by sending a function through SendMessage, and i got a function on the health script for the different amounts of damage i want the object to take. if there is a better way of sending the amount of damage to the objects please tell me. thanks

MyGameObject.SendMessage("MyFunction", myFloat); or maybe you could figure out a way to call the function directly
