How can you detect when a joint has broken?

While I know it's possible to configure joints I haven't seen anything relating to joints being tested to see if they've broken or not. Is it possible to test the amount of force currently on a joint?

Look in the MonoBehavior docs in http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/ScriptReference/MonoBehaviour.OnJointBreak.html

I have never used it, but it looks just like OnCollisionEnter, etc... .

How to get the current force? Beats me.

Doh, I knew the answer would be hidden somewhere in the docs... thanks. Looking at the actual joint commands it wasn't obvious.

OnJointBreak Called when a joint attached to the same game object broke. OnJointBreak2D Called when a Joint2D attached to the same game object breaks.

Go to MonoBehaviour.OnJointBreak2D(Joint2D)
