Shuriken Texture Sheet Animation How to choose Random Row Between 2 Constants?
I want to choose a random row within a range, not to choose one of all rows. I dont know why there is no arrow on the right to randomize the current row between 2 constants.
.
Have the developers forgot this or this not possible? I doubt it, because when there is a random toggle, the value gets randomized between 0 and rows length-1, so they could overwrite the min max as parameters where you pass custom borders just like every 'random Between 2 Constants' option.
.
In my opinion, The random row toggle is restrictive and should be removed. Instead, the row int should get the arrow options, so you can set a specific row, or a range of rows or all rows.

I get the feeling this is by design, because rowIndex uses an integer value. Random between 2 values AFAIC is only applicable on float value type. You can make suggestion in https://feedback.unity3d.com , but right now your best option is to duplicate the same system and each specifies one single row. It’s not perfect but at least it gets the job done.
You're right. Guess I might live with that.
Anyways, I've made a suggestion https://feedback.unity3d.com/suggestions/shuriken-include-random-between-2-constants-for-int-values
Thanks.
