Can see 3D object through itself

Hi, I am currently testing objects imported from blender, and came across this problem. The texture i am currently trying to achieve is transparent in some parts (bottom of the pants) so as a regular diffuse material its fine, but it won't obviously be transparent in the parts i want. The texture seems fine on a frontal view but when you rotate around it appears to be transparent in some parts but only revealing itself as a layer. I thought this was a texture problem and I have tried a few different formats, .tga, .png, .bmp, and I have also messed with a lot of the settings on the texture inside unity including different material types such as transparent diffuse and even particle alpha blended. I'm not sure if this is a problem with blender or unity either :s please help ! thankyou in advance ! alt text
