Animation and good practices
Hello,
I'm new to Unity and I have question about animation and good practice. On my prototype platform game, some platform moving on Z axis continualy. The animation is done with the animate tool of Unity.
Now, questions :-Is it a good practice to set animation with Unity animate tool (or better to set animation with code, or external tool)?
- When a platform go to one direction, is it better (in performance way) to set the entire animation or play with properties like PingPong mode ?
- When my player (with a rigidBody and not character controler) is going on platform moving on horizontal axis, I set the player as a child of platform in order to be animated, and detach when he's walking. Is it a good practice ?
