Creating Fps Game Menu
Im in the process of making a game but i wanted a gui menu... what i wanted is for it to first start off with a basic multiplayer menu with some gui buttons and labels and that for you to hit Play Game and then show what type of game... (Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Defend and Destroy, and Capture the Flag) after that it would show the maps... i dont want someone to make me a menu i just want someone to tell me how... ive seen other post but i just dont understand the answers in them... Could anyone be descriptive and tell me what you think i should do, maybe tell me some basics and than get more advanced...
Thanks to anyone who helps in Advance,

You don't have to make it GUI but use some text. Then make the script for play game as shown here.
private var Camera : CameraAnimation1;
function Awake () { Camera = GetComponent(CameraAnimation1); renderer.material.color = Color.yellow; }
function OnMouseEnter () { renderer.material.color = Color.green; }
function OnMouseExit () { renderer.material.color = Color.yellow; }
function OnMouseUp () { Camera = GetComponent(CameraAnimation1), animation.Play(); }
Do this several times but with different animation names, create a animation for the camera and make the size 2, first animation is for going to choose gamemode second animation is going to go to select a map. This should work if not then let me know and i will see what i can do to fix it.
