meshdeformation
How would you deform a mesh within a certain space around the player?
I'm wanting to make water that only deforms (waves with a sine wave through them) near the player. I don't want to use a shader. Ideas? Code? Helpful script commands?
I'm thinking cast a ray, or test for distance based on the player x,z position. Get the water mesh....
Wave deformation has been done and there are scripts for it; confining it to the player's positin (say within 10 meters or so) has me stumped.
