Question wanted dead or alive
Could someone tell what happened to the question Change footstep sounds when standing on different materials - original link:

That's the fourth question which disappeared while I was answering it. Could it be a UA bug? Or was it just deleted by the owner? I'm very worried about this - it looks like something I've done killed the question! If the owner deleted it, please let me know so I can sleep tonight!
Strange, never experienced this. But I guess the only explanation would be that the person who asked the question decided to delete it. This hides it from all other users. If a mod could confirm this so you could sleep tonight that would be nice, of course. ^.^
I also found a lot questions that are no longer there... I don't think it was your fault. I'm pretty sure that the owner has deleted the question. That's something that should not be possible in my eyes. The "old" UA system won't let you to delete your quesiton. I don't want to regret the old system but some things would be better "the old way" ;)
Thank you, guys! You made me feel a little less worried - maybe I don't have any nightmare with dead alive questions pursuing me tonight! But that's a strange thing: during the last 30 days, at least four questions vanished without any trace while I was answering them. I agree to @Bunny83: it's not a good thing someone post a question and delete it $$anonymous$$utes after. I think the question should be marked $$anonymous$$ETED, or at least the original link should redirect to a "Question Deleted by the Owner" page, so we could know what happened.
Same exact thing happened to me. I'm assu$$anonymous$$g they removed the question because they'd essentially answered it in the question...
some questions were deleted automatically by Qato as duplicates like ChrisD said, or maybe inconsistiencies on the databanks, some users reported (and I saw that happening) answers going to the wrong questions while they were writing, this seens to be happening less and less as the devs fix the bugs, but I suggest you file a report on support@qato.com

searching "footsteps sound" I see the question you stated on the list but it's link is unreachable, so I really would bet on db inconsistency
