Does Prime31's textureFromFileAtPath require specific plane settings?
I'm using Prime31's Etcetera plugin to apply a photo from the iOS UIImagePickerController as a texture on a plane in my scene. However, upon selecting a photo from the device the game doesn't respond for 10 seconds or so at which point the plane is rendered in solid black. I've followed the example of using imagePickerChoseImage() in EtceteraGUIManagerTwo.cs exactly.
One thing I've noticed is that the named callback textureLoaded has an argument of type Texture2D. I'm not sure if my plane needs to be set up to have a material texture of Texture2d or Texture or if there is a difference.

The problem was a memory warning due to large image.
// set a value for the scale argument lower than 1.0F
EtceteraBinding.promptForPhoto(0.25f, PhotoPromptType.CameraAndAlbum);
