How to "high res" your 2D iPhone Game on Unity?
Hello there folks. I got a little question.
Me (programming) and two of my colleagues (artists) are about making a game for the iPhone 4. We built a theoretical framework of the design and the features. I am not that Unity-Newbie anymore and can handle some programming-things. The problem is more about the Assets.
How exactly do we/the artists have to make the graphics look high res for 2D? What kind of settings do they have to make in Photoshop/Illustrator/Gimp/whatevertheyuse?
We are working with three 2D PlugIns:
ex2D for the overall development
SmoothMoves for the CharacterAnimation
Uni2D for most of the LevelDesign and Physics of the Level
and we fooled around a bit with them and their illustration, but we kinda don't really know if that is "high res".
Could anyone help out?
the plugin will not make it pretty more than it is ..! you should make your best in the drawing package ( like photoshop) & then compress the imported assets as PVRTC-4-bits and dont forget to disable generating mipmaps if you dont need
