Is it possible to debug Unity games using Monodevelop 3?
I'm unable to use the built in version of monodevelop right now because it crashes every time I try and open it (something about the fact that my game uses Git). BUT later version of MonoDevelop do not have this problem, however as far as I can tell there's no way to debug unless you use the built-in version of MonoDevelop. Is this true?

As far as I can tell, you can't. I've been having problems with MonoDevelop-Unity 2.8. But it seems Unity doesn't integrate nicely with MonoDevelop 3. (Error messages, opening multiple copies of the same file, etc.)
I think we're at the mercy of the Unity developers on this one.
