How can I import bones without weight/deform?
Hello, I use Blender to do my modeling and prefer to import via the .blend file. As opposed to .fbx. FBX is messier and gives me more data than I want. However, I have a problem. Importing blend files causes Unity to ignore bones without weight or deform. Even though those bones have keyframes and are important to the model/prefab. Is it possible to import those bones into the hierarchy with the blend? Perhaps even manually? Would love to know.
De-select the option in blender that says "Deform bones only"
Thank you for replying meat5000. I do not see where this option is. If it is an export option then that is not what I'm asking.
Off topic but FBX is not messier. The export options can be used to cull and the resulting file format has much wider support in the overall Industry pipeline.
