Question by Nieves · Jul 26, 2013 at 02:35 AM · assetbundle

What environment would you like to see be sell in the Unity Asset store?

I would love to make amazing and unique environment for the unity asset store. There's a lot of great environment there but I want to know what the people need and want!

Asset characteristics that are going to distinguish me in the store:

  • Low Poly ((Model resolutions are optimized for polygon efficiency.)

  • Texture Resolution 1024x1024 maps. Normal, Diffuse and specular.

  • Give the customer what they want - (Let them use the model anyway they want, just import them into your project.)

Here are some basic ideas:

  • Destroy City by a (Kaiju)

  • Arctic research station - Inspire by the movie The Thing.

  • Jungle Lost Temple - Inspire by Skull Island

  • Moon Station

  • Orbital Space Station

  • Steam Punk City

Tell me which one you prefer or do you have a better idea for an environment? Please tell me, all options are available!

That can be tricky, because what is needed depends on the game of course. One cannot simply just buy what they need unless they have someone work on it. $$anonymous$$ost environments are very general so people will use them or buy them. If you want more from that you need to find someone to do that for you. So, essentially if you do make a specific environment, not every will use it because it doesn't fit the setting of their game.

I totally understand that and thanks for the advice. But I want to see if there's some demographics in the store that hasn't yet been fulfilled or that they would like have. In other words, I need to know the waters before I start navigating.
