How do you set texture quality, soft particles and shadow resolution in code?
I can't seem to find anything in the API for this. I need to set the following via code (as found on Editor Quality Settings)...
Texture Quality
Soft Particles
Shadow Resolution
Creating lots of different quality settings is out of the question as my game has nearly every quality option and a few others.
this is one of those overlooked things, basically i created enough quality settings for each possible combo of those 3. then have the others as variables as code for the main quality setting. then i made some enums for those settings so that the user can select them. so basically for 3 variables i had to make 32 extra quality settings!!!
Its a real out of the way approach but like yourself, i can't find a reasonable way to get past this. some one made mention of this but was drowned in the abyss of new GUI request.

Texture Quality is:
QualitySettings.masterTextureLimit
;Soft particles is:
QualitySettings.softParticles
;Shadow Resolution is:
QualitySettings.shadowResolution
