How to decrease tail length of particle while moving object?

Hello.... I'm using Ellipsoid Particle Emitter that attached as a child to a moving game object, with (simulate in world space) option checked, the particles form a (tail) when object moving.... I played a lot with the ellipsoid settings, but I couldn't find the desired result to decrease the tail length? How I can Do it? thanks in advance...

Since you simulate in world space, particles just stay where they are instantiated, so, even though there are some tricks that can be applied to specific situations, it sounds like the first parameter you should try and tweak is the lifetime of the particles. If they stay there for less time, you will have a shorter trail.
