Updating Unity

Question

I keep finding great stuff in the Asset Store, but it says I need to update Unity before I can download it. Firstly, I don't know how to update it. As in, I've googled it and everything, but unless I'm not looking properly (maybe it's too obvious for me to notice) I cab't find the actual button that says, update Unity! Anyone help?

Also, I am halfway through a big game - if I update Unity, will it affect my project in any way whatsoever?

This means you should go to unity download page, download newer version of Unity and install it. :D

When you open your project in new version of unity some things CAN (even though its unlikely) go wrong; So be sure to backup your project.
