Painting a particle effect?
Hello,
I am fairly new to Unity (only built 4/5 games so far) and have been searching for a solution to a problem for over two weeks now with no luck.
I want to be able to draw/paint in Unity, much like Unity Unity Paint allows you to do, but instead of painting static colours, I want to paint a steam of light, or a particle type effect. The closest example I can give of the way I want it to look is like the light steams in Auditorium, but with x,y (z if needed) coordinates. To best describe the application I am looking to build, I use the word 'LightPaint'. Essentially I want to be able to change the colour of, and paint streams of light, as you would paint a canvas in Unity Paint.
I dont have any code for this at the moment, I have been sifting through forum after forum and trying a number of different things, but have not been able to get the effect I am after. If anybody has any ideas about how this could be achieved, it would a MASSIVE help.
Thanks, Simon.
