Mac app crashes on launch

I came across another issue. When I build my game, I launch it, the icon starts bouncing, and after 2 or 3 seconds, it crashes. Is there any way to fix it?

Try to build it again and maybe it must be in the applications folder... Good luck!

Thanks for trying to be helpful, but that didn't fix anything. Thanks for caring :D

Without knowing what exactly caused it there's very little chance of fixing it.

Find anything more specific in the crash dump?

I get this error in the console: 3/9/12 1:35:20.501 P$$anonymous$$ [0x0-0x5b05b].unity.Luka$$anonymous$$otar Games.Codename17: It should have been installed in the `/Users/lukakotar1/Codename17 $$anonymous$$ac:Win/Codename17.app/Contents/Data/$$anonymous$$anaged/mono/2.0/mscorlib.dll' directory.

I tried to fix it, but some directories are missing.

And in the console I get an error telling me that the app has not been signed

Unfortunately my knowledge and research abilities are somewhat exhausted at this point. I do know that mscorlib.dll is part of .NET and /should/ have been installed with $$anonymous$$ono Development.

I found a couple of references elsewhere on the web to the problem and a potential solution being on some $$anonymous$$ono wiki somewhere, but wasn't able to find it.

I'm hesitant to repost a "solution" I have found with changing system strings to point to the .dll if it's in a non-standard location as the poster suggested it could cause a great deal of problem. If you want to dig it up yourself search for "mscorlib.dll mac" in Google without the quotes.

As far as app signing is concerned, I'm unsure if a signed app can't run, but don't see why it shouldn't be able to. As far as I know, signed apps are more of a concept and idea related to various Apple stores.

I will get back with you if I run across anything more.

O$$anonymous$$, I have fixed this error now. Please look at my newest question with the screenshot of all the errors, that appear after this fix. Also how do you resign your app? Cause I have changed the company name by now. Thanks for helping! :)
