I've been searching for an issue to this answer for hours now, so I feel more than comfortable posting for help, sorry if the answer is in the most obvious place.
It's fairly simple what i'm trying to do. I'm creating a simple cube within Maya, exporting the selection and saving it as an OBJ file.
From here i'm opening the file within Photoshop, I've managed to navigate around the 3D tools and painted each side with different coloured brush strokes.
This is the part where i'm starting to have issues, after saving the file in photoshop it doesn't seem to update the object.
When I import the cube into Unity it is the standard grey colour made in Maya. I see the PSD. texture file that I have created from whatever I did in Photoshop but I have no idea how to apply this to a cube within unity.
Ideally I just want to make simple objects within Maya, Paint then in Photoshop and use them to build a small scene within Unity. Where am I going wrong?
