Unity reorders Maya outliner to alphabetical order
So, I work with anatomical objects that are required to be in a certain order by our doctors. These meshes are displayed in our app within a toolbox that is built using the actual Maya mesh. However... Unity reorders the objects within that mesh group when it imports it. So, instead of the mesh group that I have built in Maya, it becomes alphabetical. This makes workarounds and other undesirable things necessary so that the objects display properly in our app.
Is there anyway to have Unity read the correct order of the Maya outliner rather than change it to alphabetical?
