Connect to server over web
Hello,
A small question here:
I have created a server and I can connect easily on it on local network. However, when I ask a friend from a remote place to host the server and that I try to connect to it, I fail. I tried on several ports (including 8080) with no success.
Is there something special to do for connecting across another network ? Or is the problem should come from port forwarding / firewalls and stuff like that ?
Thanks by advance,
Pierree
Supposedly the $$anonymous$$aster Server provides functionality to make this work easily, but I've never actually gotten it to work properly (for various reasons) so I'm honestly not sure!
If i understand it right, the $$anonymous$$aster server is a server used to list and access a number of servers for your game. I can try using it, however I only need one server running and I wonder if it would be really necessary.

That was just a problem of port forwarding. :)
