Looking for a tutorial on placing prefabs and snapping
I'm wanting to build a 2D game that allows you to place premade GameObjects on the screen, such as spinning wheels, and then attach them together to make things that can move.
I thought this would be relatively straightforward, but it's proving to be quite difficult, so I'm looking for a few tutorials in each of the relevant areas, such as:
Dealing with prefab shapes
Attaching GameObjects together with beams
Snapping to hinge points/anchor points
Has anyone got any good resources to help me with this?
Even better would be a starter project, but that's quite a big ask!
Thanks
