How do I make part of an object visible?
Hi, i'm working on a project where i need only part of an object visible when i shoot out a wave. I looked through a lot of forums but I still couldn't find any solution. I was thinking about using Depth Mask but I don't really understand Shaders so that's also an problem.
Sorry about the Bad Paint work but this is what i'm looking for. The Round part is supposed to be visible when I trigger an event and the object around not visible.

Just use the alpha value of a texture as the alpha of a transparent shader.
