Shadergraph Billboard For Trees / Rotate Object only around Y axis
Hya.
I've been working on a billboard shader for trees in Shadergraph, and I'm having some trouble with rotating the billboards correctly around their Y axis.

The shadergraph is Almost there. The billboards rotate at the right way and amount at time, but it doesn't seem that they all rotate Towards the camera. Some of them seem to have a certain angle rotating away from the camera, like the object's original rotation still matters for the outcome of the calculation I'm doing in the shadergraph. So they are all "billboarding" but not all facing the camera in the right way.
I haven't been able to figure out why or how to fix this. Anybody any idea?

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the example. I've been fiddling around with it, but it's not the billboarding behavior I was looking for. It seems to be based on the camera's direction rather then the position. I need the trees rotation only to rotate when the camera moves.
The annoying part is that my shadergraph is Almost there. The billboards rotate at the right way and amount at time, but it doesn't seem that they all rotate Towards the camera. Your answer in this topic is great, but, how do you only rotate the objects around the Y axis? That would solve all my problems!
