Moving a scenery piece from a client
Hi all. I'll start by saying I'm happy making offline games, but I'm new to networking and really struggling.
My end goal is to have a two player game hosted by a server uploaded to PlayFab, so both players join as clients. It's a puzzle game, so they both need to be able to manipulate gameobjects which exist as part of the level (they've got Network Transform and Network Object components.
I'm using 2021.2.2f1.3863 and Netcode.
As it stands, I can create a host and join as a client. When I manipulate an object it obviously moves, and is replicated on the client. No matter what I try, I cannot get the client to move things.
I've managed to find a script called "Client Network Transform" in an example file, but can't get it to work.
Normally if I have an issue with code I can work it out once I get a nudge in the right direction, but I'm totally lost and need a bit more help. Can anyone help me out please, preferably talking to me like I'm a child? Thanks.
